Research interests
I’ve been a professor of animal production at ITAQ’s St-Hyacinthe campus since 2002. ITAQ is the only college in Quebec dedicated exclusively to agrifood. It offers all the technical programs offered by the college network in agriculture, food, agri-environment and horticulture. ITAQ has educational facilities on its campuses: farm school, dairy and food processing plants, educational gardens, composting centers, greenhouse complexes, landscaping workshops, eco-responsible horticultural pavilions, and more.
I teach courses in dairy and beef production in two technical programs: Technologie des productions animales (TPA) and Gestion et Technologies d’entreprise agricole (GTEA).
I’ve been a member of the Symposium des bovins laitiers organizing committee since 2011. I have also been a college researcher for the Op+lait group since 2014. My interests are mainly focused on animal production, mainly dairy production: milk quality, animal management, animal health and animal welfare.
