New Collaboration Grants: Hurry up!
Grants are available to encourage the formation of new collaborations between RQR members. A total of 30 000$ has been allocated for the 2015 competition. Each grant attributed will be to a maximum of 7 500$.
Conditions:
Collaborations must be between two or more researchers, all members of the RQR
The researchers can come from the same institution but the collaboration must be new.
Applicants must have no common projects, no joint grants, no publications as co-authors, for the last 10 years.
Additional information:
A maximum of one grant can be given per researcher per competition (as principal applicant or collaborator)
The grant must be used to buy consumables or equipment only (no travel costs, salaries or scholarships).
Collaborations with junior researchers will be prioritised.
If awarded the grant, you will be asked to submit a short summary of your project and results in lay terms to the RQR by February 1, 2015.

2015 RQR Symposium in Montreal
We are delighted to inform you that the 8th Symposium of the Réseau Québécois en reproduction will take place on November 17th and 18th 2015 at the Omni Mont-Royal Hotel in Montreal. As always, a presymposium workshop will be offered on the previous day, that is Monday November 16th 2015.

Rooms are reserved for the RQR at the Omni Mont-Royal at the following rates :

- Triple : 179$
- Quadruple : 199$

A RQR Trainee at Frontiers in Reproduction 2015
The RQR would like to congratulate Yining Li from Daniel Bernard’s lab at McGill University. She was accepted in the Frontiers in Reproduction course which will take place from May 2 to June 13, 2015 at the MBL in Massachusetts, USA. She received a 2 000 $ scholarship from the RQR to cover part of her expenses.

FRQNT Professors out of Quebec Exchange program
Unfortunately, we were informed by the FRQNT that the budget allocated to the 2014-2015 professors out of Quebec exchange program has already been completely distributed. Therefore, no new applications can be accepted. We regret any inconvenience this news may cause.
