A RQR trainee receives a Vanier Scholarship
The RQR wishes to congratulate Mathieu Nadeau-Vallée, PhD trainee under the co-supervision of Dr. Sylvie Girard, who was awarded a Vanier scholarship to continue his research project « Inhibiting Interleukin-1 receptor during pregnancy to prevent neonatal mortality and morbidity induced by placental/chorioamniotic inflammation ».
Scholarships are Canada’s most prestigious awards for doctoral students and post-doctoral fellows. They consider three equally weighted evaluation criteria: academic excellence, research potential, and leadership ability.
In the name of the RQR, congratulations Mathieu!
